Andreas Viestad (born April 5, 1973, Oslo) is a Norwegian food writer and television chef who has been on many television shows. Since 2003, he has presented seven seasons of New Scandinavian Cooking, which has been aired in the United States, China, Germany, Italy, Finland, and on BBC Food in more than fifty countries. He also writes about food for the Norwegian newspapers Dagbladet and Morgenbladet. He has written a monthly column for The Washington Post titled “The Gastronomer” for the last many years.
